You can control several aspects of photography, but the one you can’t is the weather. The day before this shoot was so cold outside that a two minute walk to our car resulted in wind blown tears… it was blistering cold out, and all we kept saying was “Please, please let tomorrow be nice.” Thankfully our wish was granted. The sun was shining, the snow was melting and the wind was almost non-existent, except the occasional breeze that flickered the snow from the branches like a lightly shaken snoglobe.
This delightful couple is expecting the arrival of their first baby girl in a few weeks, and there is no question about it these two are going to be a wonderful duo. We started with a few photos inside and then took a walk around their neighborhood to a nearby ravine where their lovable pooch “Reggie” practically guided us to the location. We had a wonderful time together capturing loving moments and the proud momma-to-be glowing like the sun behind her. Here are a few of our favorites from the shoot.
