I wouldn’t say this is your typical cake smash session, since not a lot of smashing was going on… we kept telling ourselves he was just saving his appetite for his real homemade birthday cake waiting for him at home. We still had an entertaining time watching him carefully poke and prod at the icing with a single finger with no desire to taste that sugary goodness… unlike his dad.
